Additional Property Attributes

According to available information and interviews, the Site was reportedly first developed sometime before 1884 and was used for the storage of corn and grain products associated with the Taylor and Merrill�s Grist Mill (aka C.N. Merrill & Son Grist Mill).

Former Use: The Site consists of one (1) 0.09-acre parcel of land that is improved with a dirt and gravel parking lot, grassed lawn areas, and one (1) three-story wood-d building structure which adjoins 16 Central Street (Reynolds property) to the west. The Site is currently unoccupied; however, the first and second floors of the Site building are currently used for the storage of building materials, building supplies, miscellaneous tools, and lumber. According to available information and interviews, the Site was reportedly first developed sometime before 1884 and was used for the storage of corn and grain products associated with the Taylor and Merrill�s Grist Mill (aka C.N. Merrill & Son Grist Mill). The Site was used for storage purposes associated with the operation of the grist mill; however, it was reported that the third floor of the building was used for residential purposes at some point during the 1950s. Known past uses of the surrounding buildings and properties in the general area of the Site include: grist mill operations, saw mill operations, lumber warehouse/store, livery, shoe manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, retail operations, and residential purposes.
