Additional Property Attributes

This two-parcel site was reportedly used as a stump dump prior to its conversion to a municipal park several decades ago. It has been largely replaced by other parks as an active ballfield. The Town of Hadley is evaluating improvements to the park or redevelopment of the site for other purposes, in compliance with its Open Space and Recreation Plan. In Fall 2015 a Town Meeting vote on selling the park for residential development was postponed to allow a community group more time to possibly obtain resources to improve the park for renewed recreational use.
