Additional Property Attributes

In 2015, the Hampton Inn of Green Bay opened its doors to guests and visitors following several months of renovations. While the building was formerly operated as a Clarion Hotel, hard work and high-end finishes made the facility nearly unrecognizable. For renovations to take place, the Site required completion of Phase I and II ESAs prior to clean-up efforts. Results of the Phase II ESA identified Various PAHs, VOCs, and RCRA metals above WDNR standards within soil and/or groundwater on the Site. With remediation and redevelopment efforts completed, the Hampton is one of Green Bays premiere hotels with waterfront views and access to the attached KI Convention Center.

Former Use: The Property was developed for commercial and/or industrial land use before 1883 and was used for this purpose until 1972. Various uses included coal, oil, salt, hay and brick storage, sash and door manufacturing, glazing (windows) and other miscellaneous uses. A railroad line and sidings were present at the Property from at least 1887 through 1970. Since 1972, the Property has been used as a hotel for hospitality purposes and continues to be used for this purpose today.
