Additional Property Attributes

The US EPA tasked Tetra Tech to conduct a Phase I and II ESAs of the site under the Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract EP-S5-13-01, Technical Direction Document (TDD) No. S05-0003-1407-020. A roadway project is planned stretching approximately three miles and linking nine development districts. A hybrid Phase I Environmental Assessment was completed for Block 1 to assess multiple residential, industrial and commercial properties for potential highway extensions and potential commercial redevelopment. The properties evaluated in the Phase I ESA are part of the "Project Corridor" located along Grand Avenue, Rawlings Avenue, and Holton Avenue approximately 1.4 miles east of the intersection of Interstate 490 and 77 and consisting of 82 parcels. Properties were assessed low, medium or high priority status based on potential for impacts due to former operations. A Phase II ESA was performed for Block 1 or potential acquisition and future redevelopment by the neighboring business Orlando Baking. The Phase II ESA was completed in Fall and Winter of 2015 for Block I. A Phase I ESA for Block 2C was performed following the procedures listed above. Block 2C consists of properties bounded by Holton, East 79th Street, RTA Railroad tracks and East 75th Street.
