Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property is located on Route 5, which once was a primary north-south route traversing the state. It is believed to have had a gas station on it in the 1920s. The structure burned to the ground and was rebuilt as a food and lodging establishment in the 1930s. The latest establishment closed about 10 years ago and the buildings have fallen into dilapidated conditions. The Town acquired the site through tax title proceedings in September 2016.
