Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Based on review of historical use information, the Property was used for agricultural purposes from as early as 1937 until after 1953. Gravel mining appears to have taken place on the eastern portions of the Property, beginning at some point between 1953 and 1963, and was completed sometime between 1963 and 1975. By 1975, the gravel pit appears to be filled in. According to aerial photographs and city directories, oil refining companies (Aaron Oil Co, Williams Refining Co) operated on the Property from about 1965 until approximately 1975. An auto salvage yard occupied the Property from around 1989 until 1995. Lawn and pest control businesses occupied the Property in the mid-1990's. By 1999, the property was occupied by automobile salvage and auction lots until the present. Based on an interview with the current tenant, the Property has been used as a staging yard for a water and sewer line repair company for approximately 15 years. Property is now vacant and current owner wants to redevelop into mixed commercial residential uses; numerous REC and HREC found requiring completion of Phase II ESA before redevelopment plans are approved by the County.
