Additional Property Attributes

An ASTM/Ohio VAP std Phase 1 was performed on behalf of the Richland Co Land Bank who intends to take ownership of the property following completion of Phase 2 investigation and cleanup planning. 1 REC/IA was identified for the site for former dry cleaning operations Additionally, state funds were used to perform limited site investigation including indoor air, sub-slab and soil samples. VOCs were found in samples exceeding applicable state cleanup standards; additional sampling is required Former Use: former dry cleaning operation from 1946-2014 when the site ceased operations and was vacated; the property went through foreclosure and was forfeited to the sate; previous owners include the Gordon A. Swan Company and private individuals. Site received an FY19 USEPA Cleanup grant. Chlorinated VOC-impacted soil removed from behind the building and a sub-slab vapor mitigation system was installed to address the volatilization to indoor air pathway.
