Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I ESA revealed no evidence of recognized environmental conditions in connection with the subject property except for the following: - The historic operation of an automotive repair business at the subject property beginning approximately in 1948 is considered a recognized environmental condition because releases of petroleum products and hazardous substances associated with automotive repair are likely to have occurred during historic operation. Former Use: The subject property consists of four (4) one-story buildings constructed between 1939 and 1954. Two of the parcels are residential and two are commercial, previously used as a saloon and a radiator/automobile repair shop. Currently, only the residence at 1412 � N. Main Street is occupied and the remaining buildings are vacant. Building demolished spring of 2021 through private developer (costs expended not known), City assisted by not charging (i.e. direct levarage of unrealized invoices) for ACM disposal at city-owned landfill in amount of approx. $30,000. Private funds expended by owner not known. As of Sept. 2021 working with developer to realize site potential as new hotel.
