Site is owned by City of Shreveport. It was a former blighted tire shop which was torn down to create a much needed parking lot for the nearby park and art district. Phase I of the project to create the parking lot with landscaping is complete with landscaping . Phase II will add art and culture pieces to make it a gateway entrance to the Shreveport Common neighborhood and downtown.
