Additional Property Attributes

Property was created between 1969 and 1971 by accumulating fill material from the bottom of Lake Charles. The property was then used as a park, greenspace and a playground. The Phase I ESA was conducted in preparation of the planned Hurricane Museum. In 2017, the plans for the museum were scrapped when sufficient funding could not be secured.
