Additional Property Attributes

On September 3, 2019, a fire destroyed the two-story brick structure built in 1909. Originally Cotta Transmissions, the Phase I ESA identified a former onsite manufactured gas plant. The City has intent to acquire the property once removal of the demolition debris occurs so the land can be property sloped to the adjacent Kent Creek. An evaluation for MGP impacts to the property Kent Creek is proposed to occur at that time. The end goal is to pair this properties with surrounding properties create critical land mass for future development. The property will remain greenspace in the interim period.
