Additional Property Attributes

This undeveloped property is the proposed building site of Curnow Chevrolet, an auto sales and maintenance business. Two former dry cleaners were located with 0.1 miles upgradient of the subject site. Soil and groundwater samples are recommended due to the former dry cleaners. Soil gas sampling is also recommended. Phase II Environmental Site Assessment: No polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons or volatile organic compounds were detected in the soil samples. Arsenic and lead were both detected in the surficial soil samples above the Department's Default Target Levels, but below normal background levels for that area. No groundwater was present in the borings, so no samples were collected. No further investigation is recommended.

A Phase I Update was conducted in 2022. As the RECs found in the original 2020 Phase I were investigated in the 2021 Phase II investigation, with sampling results indicating no contamination above normal background levels present at the site, this Phase I investigation has determined there are no current RECs. No further investigation at the site is necessary at this time.
