Additional Property Attributes

The building was reportedly constructed in 1930. Building materials may have included asbestos containing materials and lead-based paint. The building has served as a warehouse for home furnishings since 1930. The 4th floor of the building served as a skating rink during the 1930's and 1940's. While the owner only recently decided to close the business, he is actively seeking offers. The property is located in Central Huntington along 8th Avenue. An area of the city that continues to see productive industrial investment. Additionally, the property affords easy access and proximity (1.6 miles) to Interstate 64, and adjacent rail access further enhances the redevelopment potential. There has been initial interest shown in the property by at least one regional entity, looking to expand their operations in the Huntington area.

Asbestos containing materials and lead based paint have been confirmed in some building materials.
