Additional Property Attributes

U.S. EPA tasked START under contract 68-HE-0519-D0005, Task Order Line Item No. F0107-0001DA103 to support the City of Chicago, Department of Assets, Information and Services (AIS) with a Targeted Brownfields Assessment. The City of Chicago, AIS has identified this property as part of the INVEST South/West corridor, part of an environmental justice community. The environmental assessment findings will be used to determine how to proceed in the redevelopment of the property. The Property is listed as Time Cleaners in 1947.�This is an environmental concern That requires additional assessment.

Three soil borings were drilled and three temporary monitoring wells were installed at the site. Soil and groundwater samples were collected for VOCs. No concentrations of VOCs were detected above the TACO Tier 1 remediation objectives in the soil and groundwater samples.
