Additional Property Attributes

Site is an approximate 7,500 square-foot commercial building that occupies the entire lot. The Burns Paiute Tribe owns the Site and plans to renovate the building to serve as the Tribe's Culture & Heritage Center. The roof of the building is in poor condition and there are water intrusion issues related to roof leaks. Regulated asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) were identified in roofing materials during a hazardous materials survey conducted in January 2024. The roof needs to be replaced to address water damaged building materials and prevent indoor air quality concerns related to mold.; however, the ACMs must be properly abated prior to replacing the roof. The interior of the building is currently being renovated so addressing the roof in the near future is critical to mitigating further water damage within the building's interior and reducing risk to occupants. The Tribe is hoping to resume renovations activities by August so completing this work is of high importance to meet the project schedule. The building is currently vacant due to ongoing renovations.
