Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property is currently developed with a two-story former fire station building currently used for storage. The southern half of the building was built around 1900 as the town fire station. The fire truck bays and a second floor for living quarters were added in the 1950s. The surrounding properties are commercial and residential. Previous assessment identified asbestos-containing building materials. An RBM survey did not identify additional ACM or LBP. A trench drain is located in the fire truck bay and appears to discharge into a sump approximately 2 feet deep with an open floor or sediment covered bottom. The outfall for the discharge of the building drains and sump is unknown. The potential for a release of petroleum products, oils and greases, and solvents related to historical vehicle maintenance and washing at the Subject Property is a REC.
