Additional Property Attributes

Historical: Property is classified as industrial and has an approximately 26,883 sq.ft 2 story structure build approximately in 1947. Mining equipment manufacturing operated at the property starting in the 1940s. Reuse: The City of Smithers plans (after remediation/demolition) to construct a 7 unit retail building and parking lot to attract new businesses to serve the ~7,000 vehicles/day (per WV DOT study). The vehicular traffic continues to grow as visitorship to the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve continues to increase.
