Additional Property Attributes

The results of the ASTM Phase I found no recognized conditions. (PPF, 1/22/07)

Former Use: The property is currently undeveloped and is covered with grass, gravel and dirt. The property was occupied by a two-family residence (prior to 1949) and a gasoline service station (1949 to the 1980s). The property has been vacant since the 1980s. In 1991 four USTs were removed, but evidence suggests two or three tanks still remain. The City of Boston forclosed on the property on August 28, 1989 RECs:(1) the former use of the property as a gasoline station and the unknown status of three USTs, and (2) the presence of a nearby oil release that could impact groundwater. No VPH, EPH, and VOCs were detected in either soil or groundwater. Lead was detected in one groundwater sample but is attributed to sediment within the sample.
