Additional Property Attributes

This Phase I was completed to satisfy the City�s AAI requirement as a Prospective Purchase of the property. The property was historically used as an adult motel, and was a community nuisance due to its physical blight and high occurrence of police calls for service. The property is strategically located at the gateway to the central portion of West Capitol Avenue, one of the City�s main thoroughfares, and has high redevelopment potential. (PPF - 820 & 824 West Capitol Avenue, 7/26/07)

Former Use: The property is the location of a 40-unit abandoned motel and nine rental apartment units. Past owners include various motel operators. The City of West Sacramento recently purchased the property, following the completion of this Phase I ESA.
