Additional Property Attributes

The City's Redevelopment Agency is considering the purchase of this property. It is located in the Triangle Specific Plan area, a planned high density mixed-use redevelopment area. The site is needed by the City to construct a road and streetscape to provide a connection into the Triangle area from the City's main thoroughfare, West Capital Ave. (PPF, 1/28/08)

Former Use: Historical land use research indicates the site was developed as a railroad corridor prior to at least 1907. By the mid 1900s, the surrounding area was used for industrial purposes. Union Pacific Railroad has owned the rail line since 1934.
