Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property consisted of vacant land in an industrial area until the early-1940s when two industrial buildings were constructed. These buildings were used for the manufacture of airplane components until the late-1950s, when the property was purchased by a chemical blending and paint manufacturing company. Chemical blending operations continued on the subject property until the mid-1980s while paint manufacturing operations continued until 2005. In 2005, the subject property was foreclosed by the Wayne County Treasurer. The current owner G&L Properties, LLC purchased the subject property from Wayne County at an auction on October 21, 2009. Currently, the subject property consists of two unoccupied industrial buildings.
