Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site was formerly a filling station and auto repair garage. The site is currently operating as the Memorial Friendly Missionary Baptist Church. A Phase I was conducted in On-site RECs: A) The site was a gas station, had two USTs for which no records are available, and a probable vent pipe is still present. Off-site RECs: A) SISCA Oil Company (6741 Page Avenue) B) Gas Station/Body Shop at 6763 Page Avenue C) Tritech Coatings (1378 Kingsland Avenue) A Phase I/II was conducted in 2008. The Phase I Assessment identified the following recognized environmental conditions: 1) Former use of the property as a gasoline station, with underground storage tanks (USTs) still possibly present; and 2) The historical presence of USTsites to the northwest, north, and northeast across Page Avenue. The Phase II Assessment found the following: 1) Petroleum contamination in the soil and groundwater samples did not exceed applicable target levels; and 2) Lead in surface soil sample MC-1-SH exceeds both residential and non-residential target levels. However, the accompanying quality assurance/quality control data suggests that the results of this sample may not be accurate.
