Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I ESA prepared in December 2009 indicates the potential for RECs at the site based on ASTM E1527-05. These RECs include a historical on-site auto repair as well as an adjacent auto repair facility, two former adjacent fertilizer facilities, former adjacent dry cleaner and nearby industrial properties. An asbestos survey was also completed and identified asbestos containing materials. Site is for sale and ongoing negotiations are underway with the City of Cario, Ga. for possible purchase. A Phase 2 ESA was conducted on the property in December 2010. Due to laboratory QC issues, discovery of potential underground storage tanks, and age of the on-site structures, the assessment was not sufficient to confirm the identified RECs impacted the site. A UST investigation was conducted in 2012 to investigate the underground anamolies found during the geophyisical investigation and to address previous data gaps in soil and groundwater. No USTs were discovered at the site and the groundwater and soil data results were under the State Cleanup Levels. This site is currently for sale.

Former Use: The majority of the property Lot 138 has been utilized for commercial purposes since the 1960's - residential prior to that. Lot 139 has been an auto repair facility for many years.
