Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: As of 1884 it appeared the Property was developed as a hotel. By 1914, the hotel was converted into a hospital with municipal offices. As of 1921, the hotel building was demolished and an automotive dealership was constructed on the Property. Dealership operations reportedly consisted of vehicle sales, repair, maintenance, and body work assessing records referenced at least four hoists inside the service center. A gasoline filling station also occupied the southwestern portion of the Property from at least 1938 to 1945. The dealership ceased operations in 2003, and the Property has remained vacant since then. During the 2009 reconnaissance, the Property was developed with a vacant automotive dealership building, paved parking, and grass areas. The Property was situated in an area zoned for residential and commercial uses, and was surrounded by miscellaneous retail establishments and residences.
