Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Former North Fork Mill (NFM) is a 135 acre former lumber mill, currently owned by the North Fork Community Development Council for redevelopment into productive business and community recreational facilities. The NFM is located at 57839 Road 225 in North Fork, Madera County, California, located in an area of light industrial, residential and open public space. Since approximately 1942 and until its closure in 1994, the site operated as a lumber mill. Various industrial operations at the site included, but were not limited to, wood treatment of processed logs with common fungicides and fueling and maintenance of a logging vehicle fleet.
