Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property is currently an unoccupied 5,856 square foot building. The building used to be occupied by a bank and has a drive-thru canopy on the east wall. Interior areas of the building include office areas, restroom, lobby, conference room, basement, storage, and steel vaults. Damage to the ceiling was observed near the vault area, which appears to have been caused by water infiltration through the roof. The basement area of the building was not observed due to lack of access. A floor hatch leading to the basement was stuck and unable to open. Based on physical observation, ATC found evidence indicating potential mold impact at the Property. Mold was observed throughout the interior of the building on walls, furniture, flooring, and ceiling tiles. The current owner is listed as the Town of Marengo. The Town of Marengo obtained the Property from First Independence Bank in 2008.
