Additional Property Attributes

Site has been occupied by parking lots associated with an adjacent restaurant and bar since 1970. The site was suspected to have been contaminated by an adjoining gasoline station, a leaking UST facility. The Phase II ESA conducted using the US EPA Assessment Grant found that the site had not been adversely affected by the gas station. The assessments were used by the site owner to secure financing for the construction of a new, 5,200 square foot medical office building at the site, estimated to create approximately 12 permanent jobs.

Former Use: The site was unimproved and associated with surrounding residential developments from at least 1937 until 1947. The western portion of the site was occupied by a small commercial structure used by a plumbing company from 1947 to 1970 the eastern portion of the site remained vacant during this time. The commercial building was demolshed in 1970 and the site was used as a parking lot for an adjacent restaurant/bar from 1970 to 2010.
