Additional Property Attributes

During the cleanup in Oct 2013, an underground storage tank was discovered. 90% of the soil remediation had been completed, but the remainder was put on hold while the owner with support from CDW looked for additional funds to remove the tank. No funds were identified, so CDW requested that we use existing grant funds to remove the tank; this was approved. The tank was removed in November 2014, but petroleum contaminants were found in the soils. This required another 120-day Release Notification to the DEP. Once again, existing project funds had to be used to excavate the contaminated soil. The excavation and final soil remediation was completed in April 2015. Final reports are being prepared (May 2015).
