Additional Property Attributes

The City of Cleveland has submitted an Urban Setting Designation USD for the municipal boundaries of the City. Under the regulation of Ohio EPA, an USD recognizes that the water supply in urban settings has been institutionalized through a water system. An USD facilitates redevelopment by allowing redevelopers and environmental professionals to eliminate four of the five groundwater exposure pathways required to be evaluated by Ohio EPA's VAP process - as groundwater is not being used for drinking, bathing, etc. in the area. The establishment of a USD decreaes the cost of redevleopment by decreasing the cost of obtaining a No Furhter Action Letter and Covenant Not to Sue from Ohio EPA.
