Additional Property Attributes

The site, currently being used for residence and farming, is proposed to become two separate school sites for up to 90 special education students and up to 135 alternative education students from K-12. The PEA was designated to establish whether a release of hazardous substances exists on site. Exposure to OCPs, arsenic, lead, PCBs and TPH may be possible from soil and groundwater exposure routes. Based on the results, a response action to reduce levels of chlordane was recommended. Arsenic concentrations at the northwest portion of the project site may also require additional evaluation.

Former Use: According to historical aerial photographs the site has been used for agricultural purposes since the 1950s. In 1957 the ~2.1 acre portion of the site is planted as an orchard and the ~5.5 acre portion appears to be row crops.
