Additional Property Attributes

The Raeford Cleaners operated an active dry cleaners at the property from 1927 to 1940 - and the McDonald Laundry from 1940 - 1990. In 1990, Smitty's cleaners purchased the property and ceased all on-site dry cleaning operation and operated a drop-off/pick-up site only. During the time the facility operated as an active dry-cleaner, it was reported that Varsol was used as the dry-cleaning solvent. Three unregistered USTs were located beneath the building that contained the dry-cleaning solvents.
