Additional Property Attributes

Properties in the vicinity of the Site are mixed-use consisting of various commercial, municipal, educational, religious, and residential properties. Reportedly the majority of the land use west of the Site dates from 1925 and the from the 1940s to the east of the Site. Current improvements at the Site were completed in 1942 and the addition of the county and municipal offices on the second floor of the Site were built-out within the past decade. The Site now consists of a two-story building that is approximately 12,250 square feet. Prior to conversion to the PYO in the 1950s, the Site was the Castle Community Theater with commercial retail tenants along the Graham Street side of the structure. Historic tenants have included various commercial entities, including a dry cleaner in the 1940s. Adjacent tracts of land have been used by a variety of businesses, including the multi-decade use of an adjacent, upgradient property as a retail service station.
