Additional Property Attributes

The Property previously contained Dee's service station in the 1950s. Other occupants include a laundromat, auto repair facility, electrical supply and repair companies, refrigerator repair company, and offices. The Phase I ESA identified the former service station as a REC. Additionally, various debris piles on the property was identified as a REC. A Phase II ESA was conducted and found PAHs and metals in the soils in the area previously containing debris piles. This area is covered by asphalt paving. A follow-up assessment beneath the asphalt pavement found that there has been little impact to the underlying soils. The asphalt paving currently serves as an adequate barrier to exposure to impacted soils.

Former Use: The 0.41-acre site has contained a former service station, laundromat, auto repair facility, and various other electrical and refrigerator repair companies. The site is currently vacant and in disrepair. Various containers of lubricants and petroleum-based products are currently on-site, as well as creosote railroad crossties, soil piles, and contruction and demolition debris.
