The work was requested to assist a hardship school district to conduct an environmental assessment of the District's property. The TSI grant amount was 50,000 for the project. A PEA investigatio of site soil vapor and groundwater was conducted to assess the potential impact from chlorinated volatile organic compounds from an offsite dry cleaner and former gas station, lead impact to site soils from lead-based paint on the existing structure, and for petroleum hydrocarbon impacts to site soils, soil vapor and groundwater from a former onsite heating oil AST.
