Additional Property Attributes

BTA conducted for Chetopa Chamber of Commerce to suffice due diligence requirements prior to property transaction. The property has historically been used as a filling station and the lending institution is requiring a Phase I. RECs were potential petroleum and hazardous substances associated with a former filling station, former implement dealership, and current day filling station and UST system on the property. Phase II identified petroleum above Risk in the soil. Site referred to KDHE UST Program for further assessment and/or remediation.

Former Use: Mill in 1885 In 1924, the site was devleopmed with a dwelling on the SW corner of the site, a blacksmith building on the SC portion of the site, and a saw mill on the SE portion of the site. By 1938, a store with 3 gas tanks was developed. Car implement dealership through the 70's. Convenience store late 70's to current.
