Additional Property Attributes

BTA conducted for the City of Great Bend to promote the reuse and redevelopment of the property. Phase I conducted through a FUDS Property Redevelopment Assessment. RECs were petroleum and hazardous substances associated with: the historical use as an Army Airfield, an active National Priority List site Plating Inc. cross-gradient, and an active CERCLIS site cross-gradient ONeill Tank. The Phase II consisted of collecting groundwater from four locations on the property. The groundwater was analyzed for volatile organic compounds VOCs and chromium total and hexavalent. Based on the results of the Phase II investigation, contaminants of concern were not detected above Risk Based Standards. Therefore, further assessment or cleanup is not warranted.
