The subject site is developed by a four-story masonry hospital building with a basement. The structure is approximately 225,000 square feet in size. The site has been occupied by a hospital since the late 1800s, but the majority of the current building was constructed in 1925. Subsequent additions were made to the hospital in 1954, 1963, 1968, and 1982. The building has been vacant since late 2011 and most hospital operations have been moved to the Touchette Regional Hospital in neighboring Centreville, IL. However, the building is maintained in hopes of redevelopment.

Former Use: the subject site consists of 3.56 acres & a 225,000-foot, four-story hospital building.
