Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site is located at 4111 Custer Street in the City of Manitowoc, Wisconsin and consists of one parcel of land. The Site is located on the west side of Manitowoc in a mixed residential and industrial area. Historical aerial photography appears to indicate that initial development at the Site occurred between 1938 and 1966. The current Site owner, Teresa Guerin, indicated that Merlyn Kaufman developed the Site circa 1951. Initial development included utilizing the Site as a residence and an auto salvage yard. City directory records indicate that by 1964 the Site was being commercially utilized to sell used auto parts. Eugene Guerin purchased the Site from Merlyn Kaufman in December of 1974, and ownership has remained within the Guerin family to the present day. The current owner, Teresa Guerin, took sole ownership of the Site on October 15, 2007. The Site was continually utilized as a residence and auto salvage operations until 2009 when salvage operations ceased. Currently the Site is utilized as a single family residence.
