Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I ESA was performed on roadways (Chase Street, Coit Road, and Chapman Street) within the underserved community of Lacoochee to address any RECs that may be encountered as part of proposed infrastructure improvements. The RECs were compared to risk rankings defined by the FDOT and FHA guidelines to determine if additional assessment is necessary. ASTM findings and ranking guidelines suggest additonal assessment is warranted to address an adjacent historical petroleum storage structure, adjacent railroad and nearby petroleum storage facility (retail gasoline sales). Based on a Phase II ESA conducted in late 2012, no soil or groundwater impacts above regulatory criteria were encountered. As such, no additinal assessment was recommended prior to the proposed infrastructure improvements.
