Additional Property Attributes

The Village of Constantine wishes to assist the existing lessees in taking title to the property. The new owners will make some improvements to the property. PPF - Constantine Auto Repair, 9/29/05 New owners have acquired the property and will retain the existing jobs. PPF attached to QR 5, 10/1/05 - 12/31/05

Former Use: Prior to the 19040s, when the present day building was constructed, a gasoline station was present on the property. The remnants of a pump island are present in the concrete in front of the building. Underground storage tanks were removed from the property in 1982. No assessment was completed at the time of the tank removal to determine if the former UST system impacted the property. Reportedly Mr. Ernest Willman's wife inhereted the property from an uncle. When his wife died, the property went to Ernest. He has sold the property on land contract to Kile Philip who sold it on land contract to Thomas Jones who leases the property to Constantine Auto Repair. The party that last utilized the UST system is not known. Presumably, none of the parties in the chian of title are a "responsible party."
