Additional Property Attributes

This site is being considered for redevelopment of a County bus maintenance facility. The site is currently undertutilized, with a historial land use of agricultural, which may have impacted on-site soils and groundwater in a manner that may influence how these material are handled during development. Additional assessment was warranted based on the Phase I ESA completed in July 2013. Based on Phase II ESA activities performed in December 2013, chromium was found in shallow soils (primarily at four feet below surface) in five samples collected from the property. SPLP analysis of the impacted samples revealed one sample (SB-6 at 4') could result in impacted groundwater above its respective cleanup target level. As such, additional assessment has been recommended to address this one relatively small area of the site. The Supplemental Phase II ESA completed in early 2014 revealed the previously documented impacts were below the cleanup criteria for the proposed end use. No additional assessment was recommended and a NEPA report was submitted with no categorcal exclusions based on the supplemental findings.

Former Use: Historical land use has primarily been agricultural.
