Additional Property Attributes

The City of Kokomo and the City of Kokomo Coalition intend to support the planned purchase and redevelopment of the Property. The Property will be redeveloped as a portion of an apartment complex; the proposed building footprint will cover approximately the northern 30 feet of the Property. The remainder will consist of paved parking areas, landscape areas, and concrete sidewalks.

Former Use: The addresses and parcel numbers of the individual parcels comprising the Property are 415 North Bell Street, 34-04-31-102-005.000-002; 508 East Jackson Street, 34-04-31-101-026.000-002; 514 East Jackson Street, 34-04-31-101-027.000-002; 522 East Jackson Street, 34-04-31-101-048.000-002; 528 East Jackson Street, 34-04-31-101-030.000-002; 509 East Jefferson Street and east adjacent lot, 34-04-31-101-002.000-002 34-04-31-101-003.000-002; 517 East Jefferson Street, 34-04-31-101-004.000-002; 525 East Jefferson Street, 34-04-31-101-005.000-002; 603 East Jefferson Street and west adjacent lot, 34-04-31-101-006.000-002, 34-04-31-101-007.000-002. At the time of the reconnaissance the Property consisted of approximately 1.36 acres of land developed with seven houses and two sheds. The remainder of the Property was developed with turf grass and trees. The surrounding area was mixed use residential and commercial. Since 1889-2012 historical use was residential. from 1909-1965 603 East Jefferson Street was listed as a home grocery and then as a church.
