Additional Property Attributes

The site is located at 401 Workman Road (formerly Hamill Road) in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. The site consists of an approximately 53-acre tract of wooded land (Parcel No.: 167E-A-014) with only dirt/gravel access roads as improvements. Chattanooga Creek transverses the site from south to north.

Former Use: Based on a review of the historical information, the site has been undeveloped wooded land since at least 1893. Between 1973 and 1983, the southwestern portion of the site was cleared and maintained. Several gravel paths traverse the site following the path of Chattanooga Creek. Portions of Chattanooga Creek and the areas along Chattanooga Creek were investigated between the 2005-2007 by the EPA and TDEC. The site and areas adjacent to Chattanooga Creek have been reported to be impacted by historical releases in the area. As of 2/27/2012, the site is owned by the City of Chattanooga. The site was previously owned by Joseph and Terri Glover.
