Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of approximately 0.16-acres of developed/commercial land. The Property consists of two adjoining building structures, which together are 6,750-square-feet. Outside of the structure, the remaining land is covered by concrete sidewalk. The Property layout and boundaries are depicted on the Property Orientation Diagram (Figure 2). The surrounding area is used for commercial purposes. The Property is bordered by Secrets Night Club to the north, South Washington Square to the east, West Washtenaw Street and Knapps Building to the south, and an alleyway and Ellis Parking lot to the west.

Former Use: According to available records, from at least 1885 to 1898 the Property was vacant. By 1898 the existing buildings were constructed on the Property. From 1898 to 2013 the Property has been used for commercial retail and office space. During this time period the following businesses operated on the Property: Hurd�s Men Shop, Little Downey Restaurant, Beauty Shop, Morrissey Bros Cigars, National Hat Shop and Newsstand, Newton Building, Snyder Hat Stores Inc., Sunset Cafeteria, Ayers Cafeteria, Anderson Barber Shop, Walk Rite Shoe Shop, June Confectionary, Newman�s Inc, Baker�s Shoes, Green�s Women�s Clothing, Green�s Apparel Inc., The Way Things Were Clothing, The Mole Hole, Capitol Books, and Kimmel�s Greeting Cards/Hallmark. From 2013 to present the building located on the Property has been vacant.
