Additional Property Attributes

It is referred to as the �Chocola Property.� It has been vacant for approximately 10 years. The property contains approximately 24,000 square feet of warehouse space that is not being used. United Electrical Contractors has purchased the property and plans to renovate the existing building. The business will be bringing 28 new jobs to the city of Lansing. He also plans to lease out portions of the building for other trades.

Former Use: The Property consists of a parcel of land totaling approximately 1.25 acres of land developed with three contiguous commercial buildings, totaling approximately 27,064 square feet. The buildings are comprised of offices and warehouses. The remainder of the Property consists of asphalt parking and driveways, concrete pads and loading docks, and a fenced-in grass lawn. Based upon a review of historical information, from at least 1898 to approximately 1953, the Property was used for residential purposes. From approximately 1953 to 1973 the Property was used for industrial operations listed under the following businesses: Aaron Heating and Sheet Metal and Cutler Oil and Packaging Corp. Five ASTs appear to have been located on the Property during this time. The Property was then used for mainly commercial/retail purposes consisting of Continental Cablevision from approximately 1975 to 1977 and Chocola Cleaning Materials from 1977 to 2005. The Property has since been vacant.
