Additional Property Attributes

The purchaser intends to make significant renovations the existing building to be utilized as a coffee shop.

Former Use: Standard and historical sources documented that the subject property was developed between 1940 and 1949, with a dwelling in the northern portion. Prior to that time the property was vacant land. Between 1949 and 1952 a garage was constructed in the southwestern portion and between 1952 and 1957, a building was constructed in the southeastern portion. Assessing records document the building was utilized as a retail store. The building was occupied by Oakland Heating and Air Ducts Company from 1957 to 1960, E Cumming Sales from 1962 to 1963, Dixie Tractor and Equipment from 1967 to 1968, Liberty TV Sales and Service from 1970 to 1971, Holmes Racing Entertainment from 1973 to 1976, and Sun Cycle from 1978 to 1979. Based on information reviewed, it appears these uses were generally commercial retail. No service or industrial activities were identified. The dwelling, garage, and building were demolished in 1980, and the current building was constructed in the central portion of the property. The current building was occupied by Wendys restaurant likely from original construction until April 2014, and has been vacant since April 2014.
