Additional Property Attributes

Older, blighted building was removed from the Property and the Property was redeveloped as a gravel parking area.

Former Use: The Property was developed with a warehouse, residence, and storage building as of 1884, the date of earliest available records. The warehouse had been demolished and a grain elevator built in its place by 1900. The residence had been converted to a warehouse by 1900. By 1916, the Property was being used solely to support a grain elevator. The grain elevator had been demolished by 1928, and new buildings had been constructed on the site. The Property was used as a lumber mill from the late 1920s through the 1970s. The Property and building were most recently used for storage of retail stock by Hastings Ace Hardware.
