Additional Property Attributes

This property in the former Southern Hosiery building. It is currently vacant. The Phase I ESA revealed no evidence of RECs in connection with the site except: The site�s historical industrial operations as a hosiery mill. The observed presence of drum rings and trench located in the former dye house area. The former presence of crude oil storage onsite. The former presence of a 10,000-gallon diesel UST on the site.

Former Use: The site was first developed between 1939 and 1948. City directories indicate that the site was Southern Hosiery Mills, Inc. and Menzies Hosiery Mill Inc. in 1963 and 1966. From 1995 to 2003, the site is listed as being occupied by Southern Hosiery Mills, Inc. The site has reportedly been vacant since the current owners purchased the property in 2012
