Additional Property Attributes

After Ph. I was completed, the City of Toledo acquired this property and demolished the existing building in hopes of future expansion from the Jeep automotive plant across the street.

Former Use: The site was formerly operated as a tool and die facility, known as Dun-Rite Tool and Die (3832 Twining St.) from at least 1959 to 1963. The former presence of a tool and die facility at the site is considered a recognized environmental concern. The site is also located in a heavy industrial area. The site is currently being used as a plumbing business and storage. Several vehicles were located inside along with miscellaneous tools, aerosol paints, solvents, and oils. No drains, concrete stains, or tanks were observed.
