Additional Property Attributes

Building improvements will be made to the existing building to accommodate the rapid growth the purchaser has been experiencing the last 3 years. Air Center, the purchaser, is an industrial distributor of air compressors and automotive assembly torque equipment. The two primary lines are Kaeser Compressors and Stanley Assembly Tools. Air Center has been a Michigan based company since 1984.

Former Use: Original development of the subject property occurred in 1980 with the construction of current building in the central portion of the property. Prior to the construction of the building, the property contained vacant and/or wooded land since at least 1937. An office addition was constructed in 1990. Historical occupants have consisted of various building supply operations from initial construction to 2009; DMI Industries performed unknown light industrial operations from initial construction to 1992; artist shop operations in 1988; typesetting operations from 1983 to 1991; and Danse Corporation plastic injection molding operations from 1993 to 2009. The property was vacant of occupants, except for small amounts of building supply storage, in 2010, and has been occupied by Primeway, Inc., an office furniture manufacturer, since October 2010.
